Brauhaus Obermuhle in Braunfels

Before Corona I had already been here more than once and I always ate and drank really well here. I became aware of the restaurant because I was at a wedding at Braunfels Castle and the food came from the Obermühle. The catering was really very good.

Did a beer seminar there. Was super good and entertaining

Have not been here for a long time due to Corona. We were looking forward to the knuckle, it's so delicious. The service is always great! It's a shame the map has gotten smaller.

A quaint, rustic restaurant that I've been visiting for many years and where I've never fallen for it. There are wild dishes, home-made fare and seasonal food, which always tastes great. In addition, the prices for what you get are more than just fair. There is also food on the hot stone that you can prepare yourself and the self-made beer is sensational. There is also always seasonal beer, which is always good. There is also an outside area where you can sit nicely in the summer, the specially brewed beer can be taken in bottled bottles. Funny tiles hang on the toilets which must be visited. They have the best knuckles I've ever eaten. But the other dishes are also unrivaled. Definitely worth a visit.

Schnitzel was good only the salad wasn't mine. At that time there was potato soup and this time unfortunately not what I was really looking forward to

Second time here with a group. The first time we had a buffet and it was grilled that was great. But yesterday the hot stone topped that. And the beer is really delicious. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth a visit

It was a very beautiful evening. The meal was excellent. The quality of the meat was perfect and it also tasted very good. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. It was just a bit chilly yesterday, but that wasn't too bad. Always my pleasure!

Fatty hash browns were served with the roast pork instead of dumplings. It doesn't go together at all. Totally overpriced prices, never again. We had to get the upholstery for the uncomfortable chairs in the beer garden ourselves, stones as a base, uncomfortable!

Great and cozy restaurant with a nice beer garden. Lots of delicious Hessian dishes and the menu is also written in Hessian. Nice waitresses, great service, just to feel good. Eat and relax in the right atmosphere !!! 👍

Everything fresh and really regional. Delicious salads and very good schnitzel. Even the beer is brewed here! We sat outside, we really liked the atmosphere. The service is super nice.

We like the meals served on a hot stone. And we love good meat. Served with locally brewed beer, this restaurant is a perfect thing. Important to say is, that the crew also handles large groups absolutely professional. The flair is traditional German, but who cares if the meals are tasty and the beer is great!

On this occasion we only had dinner and Sven, the owner, took charge of choosing our menu and he got it right. Simply great! A new and perfect visit, how always!

The 'hot stone' dishes are recommended. The other dishes are rather changeable in their quality. The waiters were all friendly and attentive.

Filet steak on a hot stone is a must! Apple rings in beer dough are also fantastic. I definitely recommend it.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant with real home brewed beers...a must visit if you are in the Weilburg area.

I love their Essen vom heißen Stein, and their beers they're aweome, and It's so close to Braunfels Schloss.
